Testing Information

Testing Parameters for Compound Bows:

The bow was tested out-of-the-box at the factory adjusted 29" draw length setting and peak draw weight. A force-draw curve was obtained, using a digital force gauge with a resolution of 0.1 lbs. The arrow speed(s) were achieved with the bow being shot on a Hooter Shooter shooting machine, using a mechanical release aid. The string was pulled, until the cables hit their end position on the cams or until the draw stop(s) had reached its (their) end position. Speed measurements were taken 3 feet in front of the back of the bow with two chronographs set up in a tandem configuration. Each arrow was shot a minimum of 6 times and its average speed was rounded to the next whole digit. The speed testing was done with the supplied strings and cables, factory provided string attachments (silencers, speed nocks etc.) and a D-Loop installed on the string.
